1. About these terms

FamilyOS is provided by the developer identified on its App Store product page (the “Provider,” “we,” or “us”). These terms cover the FamilyOS app and this website. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms do not limit rights that consumer law gives you.

The app’s software license is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless the App Store listing supplies a different applicable license. These service terms supplement that license and do not replace your agreements with Apple. Apple is not the provider of FamilyOS support.

2. Using FamilyOS

Use the app only when you can lawfully agree to these terms, or with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required. FamilyOS is intended for household organization; it is not an independent social service for young children. An adult responsible for the household should manage invitations and the use of children’s information.

You are responsible for access to your devices and Apple Account, and for permissions and information you choose to provide. Features can depend on compatible hardware, operating system, iCloud availability, network access, language support, or an active subscription. We do not promise that every feature works offline or on every device.

3. Your content and household sharing

You retain your rights in your content. You permit the processing and storage needed to provide the functions you use, including storage on your device and in iCloud and disclosure to household members you invite. Only provide information you have the right to use and share. Get the necessary permission before adding another person’s information or enabling location sharing.

Household access is broad. Invited members, including view-only members, may see shared documents, notes, schedules, medicine-related records, and financial or collection information. “Only me” items are outside the shared household. Review access before inviting someone. Removing access cannot recall copies or exports a recipient has already saved.

4. Responsible use

Do not use FamilyOS to harass, secretly monitor, stalk, impersonate, infringe rights, share unlawful material, or endanger a person. Do not bypass access controls or disrupt the app or Apple’s services. Location features must be used with appropriate consent and lawful authority. Report misuse to our support contact.

Protect sensitive information on shared devices. Check the intended household and sharing scope before saving, exporting, or sending an invitation. We may restrict services under our control where reasonably necessary to address misuse or comply with law; Apple’s account and sharing controls are governed by Apple.

5. Plans, suggestions, and safety

Text recognition, extracted dates, suggestions, reminders, and location information may be wrong, delayed, or unavailable. Review imported information against the original source before relying on it. Keep independent copies of information that matters to you.

FamilyOS is not an emergency, medical, caregiving-monitoring, or financial-advice service. Medicine features are organizational aids, not dosage recommendations. Location sharing is not an emergency locator or a guarantee of someone’s safety. Seek qualified advice where appropriate and use emergency services for urgent situations.

6. FamilyOS Plus and purchases

Optional subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Before you confirm, the purchase screen shows the subscription, price in your currency, renewal period, and any trial or introductory offer for which you are eligible. Apple charges the payment method associated with your Apple Account.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. To avoid a charge after a free or discounted trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or follow Apple’s cancellation instructions. Deleting the app or leaving a household does not cancel a subscription.

Access after cancellation follows the period shown by Apple. Refund requests are handled through Apple’s refund process, subject to Apple’s terms and applicable consumer rights. Restore purchases in the app using the Apple Account that made the purchase. Features, prices, and offers can change with required notice and consent; the purchase screen governs the offer you accept.

7. Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains data handling, permissions, and deletion options. There is no separate FamilyOS login account to close. You can use the app’s data controls to export information, delete personal items, leave a household, or delete a household you own. These actions have different effects; read each confirmation carefully.

Uninstalling the app does not necessarily remove iCloud content, backups, shared copies, or an Apple subscription. Deletions may need time and an available connection to sync. Apple’s retention rules apply to its systems.

8. Changes and availability

We may update the app and these terms to maintain features, security, compatibility, and legal compliance. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel before they take effect when required. The date above identifies this version. Continuing to use the service after an applicable change takes effect means accepting the updated terms, subject to mandatory law.

Services may be interrupted or discontinued. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free output, or recovery of deleted content. Where law requires notice or remedies, those requirements apply.

9. Your rights and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available. The limitations in the applicable software license also apply to the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits remedies for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other matters protected by mandatory law.

Any dispute is subject to the applicable license and the law and courts required by mandatory consumer-protection rules. These terms do not require private arbitration or waive your statutory rights. Contact us first if an issue arises so we can try to resolve it.

10. Contact

For app support, purchase assistance, privacy inquiries, or concerns about these terms, use the contact below. Apple handles Apple Account and billing matters through its own support channels.
